Toshiba Tecra S3
The Toshiba Tecra S3 does a good job of combining graphics capability with enterprise-level security features.
The fingerprint reader and TMP security chip ensure that your documents remain away from prying eyes, and graphics are a breeze thanks to the Nvidia GeForce video processor. Wi-Fi performance is also very good with 10-Mbps transfer speeds over a distance of 50 feet.
A major disadvantage of the Tecra S3 would have to be its minimal integrated RAM of only 256MB. If you’re looking to run a lot of high performance applications, you’ll probably have to upgrade this.
The S3’s mediocre 40GB hard drive and XGA display keep it from being much of a gaming machine, but as far as business use goes, it’s a solid option at a reasonable price.
