  • Panasonic Toughbook W4

The Toughbook W4 is one of the most durable ultra-portable notebooks currently on the market, with a shock-mounted hard drive, lockable optical drive, and sealed modem and Ethernet jacks.

With a weight of under 3-pounds, strong wireless performance, and a battery life well surpassing six hours, the W4’s travel-friendliness is quite an obvious advantage.

This model is quite expensive for an ultraportable, especially considering its small hard drive and lack of a DVD burner. The unique combination of durability, mobility, and long battery life, however, are enough to justify the extra expense.
