IBM ThinkPad R50e
As a package of all the necessities at a rock-bottom price, the IBM ThinkPad R50e combines good economy with solid core functionality.
One of the R50e’s main advantages over the competition is its higher-than-averge RAM of 512MB. This is a great improvement over the 256MB available in most budget laptop computers.
The R50e does have its drawbacks, however, most notably the total absense of built-in DVD hardware and wireless connectivity.
For its price, the R50e is actually quite a good deal, but it’s basic features may not be enough for users who desire much advanced functionality.
